A well presented cottage recently refurbished to offer a welcoming base from which to explore the North Wales countryside. The cottage, which is attached to the owners' home on a working farm, is conveniently designed all on one level allowing ease of access. Entrance to the cottage is through a useful boot room/coat storage or dog towelling down area. The property features an open plan living/dining/kitchen area which has a fully equipped kitchen, breakfast bar and welcoming lounge area with Freeview TV. There is a double bedroom with plenty of storage in the mirrored wardrobes and a separate shower room.  For our guests wishing to bring a dog there is an enclosed private garden with direct access from the cottage and for guests with horses there is a 2 acre paddock available by prior arrangement.

The nearest village is Bodelwyddan which, is situated in the picturesque Vale of Clwyd, has a range of shops and a pub.

From the cottage you can see the famous "Marble Church" which was built in 1856 commissioned by Lady Willoughby de Broke and the imposing Bodelwyddan Castle which is set in 260 acres of delightful park and woodland.  The castle is home for the National Portrait gallery.  The nearby village of Rhuddlan has the remains of a 13th century castle, walks along the riverbank as well as a good range of shops in the quaint high street. The impressive walled market town of Conwy with it's castle built by Edward 1 of England in 1283, has a wealth of interesting historic buildings to visit as well as a delightful network of streets with independent shops, cafes and restaurants.

Bod Del is situated a short drive, approximately 5 miles, from the seaside town of Rhyl and the delightful sandy beach at Kimnel Bay is even closer. There's plenty to do and see in the area whether it's visiting the Victorian seaside town Llandudno, 16 miles away, which boasts a famous pier, the Great Orme Tramway and the Llandudno Cable Car that takes you up to the Great Orme, a haven for flora and fauna.

For those who enjoy walking, you will be spoilt for choice with the range of walks along the stunning Clwydian Range or the charming gateway to Snowdonia, Betws-y-Coed less than 30 miles away.
