There's so much to do in North Wales it's difficult to know where to start! Of course there's always the option of relaxing and enjoying the scenery.
If you love walking through stunning scenery then staying at Summerhill Court will be perfect as the Clywdian Mountain Range is on your doorstep offering various walking opportunities along the Clwydian Way to reach Langollen or Prestatyn on the 122 mile circular route.
If you like browsing at antiques and collectables followed by lunch in a pleasant restaurant that uses local produce, then Park View Cottage is within walking distance of the Afonwen Craft and Antique Centre.
Bod Del is conveniently located to Bodelwyddan Castle which holds regular events throughout the year, Rhuddlan Castle and Dyserth Waterfall. In addition the historic castles in Denbigh and Conwy are worth a visit.
The historic town of Ruthin has many attractions including the Castle and Prison which are open to the public as well as a quaint network of streets with independent shops.
The historical city of Chester with a wealth of restaurants, shops, historic sites and racecourse is about a 40 minute drive away. The open top bus guided tours are a great way to explore the city.
All three properties are within four and ten miles to the coastal towns of Rhyl, Prestatyn and Abergele.
The area has a wealth of country pubs and restaurants to enjoy and for those who would like a little retail therapy there is the Cheshire Oaks Designer Outlet, Broughton Park Shopping Centre, as well as the seaside town of Llandudno with it's wealth of independent shops.
